16th Century Church of San Jose in Old San Juan Puerto Rico Its Finally Open! After almost 20yrs of reconstructions History is safe once again. This Church is the most antique from USA and is located in Old San Juan Puerto Rico. The Church of San Jose in Old San Juan is constructed by the years 1532 -1735 by the orders of the Dominicos. The actual name of the church was given by the Jesuitas when they took the monastery by 1865. I have to say I never saw this Church inside so I'm happy to hear that is finally open.

Gothic Church Nuestra Señora de Lourdes in Miramar San Juan, Puerto Rico. The land was acquired in 1906 and the first stone was placed in 1907. The design of the chapel was made by  Czech   architect   Antonin Nechodoma , who lived in Puerto Rico. The chapel was finally opened in 1908. Initially, the chapel was used by a  Methodist Episcopal church . After that, it was occupied by the Union Church. Owners Pedro Santiago and Catalina Mejía de Santiago gave the building as a present to the  Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico  on February 17, 1959. Due to its unique architecture and historic nature, the chapel was included on the  National Register for Historic Places  on September 25, 1984.  Info by Wikipedia.
