Elevated status to Co Cathedral in 1981







 


The Procession from Lomas Verdes, Bayamón Puerto Rico has been for a long time I remember as a child this procession was more long a lot of trucks to show us the meaning of Holy Week.


It always starts at 5pm but people start looking for a spot since 4pm.
You can walk with them at the end or just see it from one place.

Saint Louis Cathedral in Fort -de- France in the Caribbean Island of Martinique's

 Built in 1675 the church was destroyed with fire and earthquakes and its was rebuild several times. In 1970 start a new rebuilding with Iron it was complete in 1978. (Wikipedia info)

This Cathedral is also named as "The Iron Cathedral."

You can visit this Church in one of the Cruises that has a stop in the Martinique Island from the Port of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

 



This Church is 115 yrs 1909 it also has a school that was found in 1928. It has an active community that participates in the Church activities. 

In December they built the Parroquia Belen that you can visit and pray for a miracle to baby Jesus. You can see the photos at the end of the post and the information.

The Frailes Capuchinos lives there and maintain the faith of the community and the areas from the school and church.

Tuesday - Friday 12.00pm

Most Holy Thursday 12.30pm - 3.30pm

Saturday - 5pm

Sunday - 7am / 9am / 11am





The Church Parroquia San Jose from Villa Caparra Guaynabo, Puerto Rico

This Church is one of the most important from Puerto Rico is the location from Caparra where Juan Ponce de León have his first house. This Church have been rebuilt it was from wood and know it on cement due of fires and hurricanes.

This public plaza called; Nemesio Canales is one of the most unique from Puerto Rico because of the History that surround them.

Church is called; Parroquia Nuestra Sra. de Monserrate.





In Puerto Rico there are three Schoenstatt these photos are from Hatillo. I used to live in Lares and on the entrance from Hatillo to Lares you can find on the GPS this beautiful Sanctuary.

Concathedral Dulce Nombre de Jesus in Humacao, Puerto Rico




This Humacao is a Concatedral but the Cathedral Dulce Nombre de Jesus (Sweet Name of Jesus) but there another one with the same name on the town of Caguas not too far from this you can read my blog post from Caguas Cathedral on my blog also see it on my Youtube videos.

Santuario de Fatima en Guánica, Puerto Rico

This Sanctuary from Fatima in Guanica, Puerto Rico is the first replica from the original in Portugal. You can put the info on the GPS and it will take you to the road be alert because the gps will take you more far that is.

Church Minor Basilica from the town of Hormigueros, Puerto Rico
is very close to the Mall of Mayaguez.

You don't have to walk the stair you can drive to the back of the
church and enter directly.

Public Plaza Palmer from Caguas, Puerto Rico.
 
Mass Hours

Monday to Friday 6.30 am / 12.10 pm
Thursday 7am - 11.30am  - Most Holy
Saturday 7.00 am / 5.00 pm
Sunday 6.00 am / 8.30 am / 11.00 am / 5.00 pm

You will park around the public plaza Saturday and Sunday the parking is Free on the week you need to pay with coins .25 cents.

On Thursday you can visit the Holy from 7.00 am to 12.00 pm as you see in the upper photo is in the middle of the Church.

Ponce Playa Church La Milagrosa

I visit this Church because it was my first anniversary and my husband, and I decide to spend the weekend in Ponce at the Fox Hotel that located at the front of the Public Plaza las Delicia's and Cathedral Guadalupe. 

I love the art deco from the outside from this Church and the Stain Glass are beautiful I'm happy to visit this Church its very close to the public plaza.
