Puerto Rico Schoenstatt Hatillo Catholic Sanctuary by Sylvette Travels

In Puerto Rico there are three Schoenstatt these photos are from Hatillo. I used to live in Lares and on the entrance from Hatillo to Lares you can find on the GPS this beautiful Sanctuary.

Santa Isabel
Cabo Rojo
Hatillo

The entrance is Free, and they also have bathrooms just in case you need them in your road trip. You need to walk a hill and up in the mountain you will find the mini sanctuary.

I went to visit the Sanctuary one time and it was decorated so beautifully someone told me that the Governor was there I just pass in front of her and didn't know it. Never saw our not elected governor but thanks for decorating this sanctuary it was beautiful.

I have visited the Schoenstatt from Santa Isabel I don't have photos, but the surrounding areas are different that this one from Hatillo. It's on my agenda visiting the one in Cabo Rojo never been to that Sanctuary.

Hopefully I will have a video from these three Sanctuary stay tune in the meantime you can see all my other Church videos click the photo downlow.

16th Century Church of San Jose in Old San Juan Puerto Rico Its Finally Open! After almost 20yrs of reconstructions History is safe once again. This Church is the most antique from USA and is located in Old San Juan Puerto Rico. The Church of San Jose in Old San Juan is constructed by the years 1532 -1735 by the orders of the Dominicos. The actual name of the church was given by the Jesuitas when they took the monastery by 1865. I have to say I never saw this Church inside so I'm happy to hear that is finally open.

Puerto Rico Gothic Church Our Lady of Lourdes see photos and video by Sylvette Travels

Gothic Church Nuestra Señora de Lourdes in Miramar San Juan, Puerto Rico. The land was acquired in 1906 and the first stone was placed in 1907. The design of the chapel was made by  Czech   architect   Antonin Nechodoma , who lived in Puerto Rico. The chapel was finally opened in 1908. Initially, the chapel was used by a  Methodist Episcopal church . After that, it was occupied by the Union Church. Owners Pedro Santiago and Catalina Mejía de Santiago gave the building as a present to the  Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico  on February 17, 1959. Due to its unique architecture and historic nature, the chapel was included on the  National Register for Historic Places  on September 25, 1984.  Info by Wikipedia.
